I was new to this church and in an effort to meet some women I did something very much out of my comfort zone…..a women’s conference. Women’s conferences are great….historically though, not my thing (my apologies to those who are offended two sentences into this post). I sat down next to a woman who immediately introduced herself to me as Tammy. Her blue eyes sparked and her southern accent was woven into her words. She started to gush and I could immediately tell that she was as personable and real as they come. I knew I liked her. During a break she shared with me a dream she had one night about adopting a little boy from Africa and her heart for making that dream a reality. Our paths didn’t cross again until Will and I joined a bible study and to my delight that southern bell I had met a year ago was there. Except this time that dream she had about adopting from Africa was not just a dream, it had been put in motion.
The Stonebrook’s adoption journey has been full of its highs and its lows. I feel so blessed to have been able to partner with them throughout these last 6 months. To pray with them during the lows and celebrate the highs. But above all to see them walk this journey out with faith and trust in the One who sees and knows all. The God who choose this little boy to be a part of their family and a God who so clearly was orchestrating events to make this union come about. To be able to photograph the Stonebrook’s beautiful five children truly was an honor and a privilege. I am so excited to see the ways in which God continues to knit them closer together.
Rude to all the normal looking girls. Just rude.

Stop it. Presley, I cannot handle it.

Yes you are gorgeous and cute. Also, very rude

How are you 13?!? So grown up!

Shut the front door. Delaney, you are stunning.
Intimate moments between big sis and little brother. I cannot handle it.
Classic.
Are you kidding me? I am just going to pretend I looked this good at 16.
